This in from Barna Highlights
In honor of Father’s Day, we wanted to acknowledge the men who have shaped us and explore their generational impact on today’s men. Our research shows that dynamics of previous father-son relationships hold a pivotal influence on men’s current fulfillment in fatherhood and relationships.
A Barna survey reveals that Christian men who experienced positive paternal bonds are significantly more satisfied in their own parenting roles compared to those who did not. In fact, 53 percent of Christian men who report a positive relationship with their father growing up are considerably more likely to say they are very satisfied in their relationship to their own child, compared to 42 percent who did not. This number underscores the enduring influence of fatherly guidance on familial connection and personal fulfillment.
