STEPHEN MINISTRY
St. John is a Stephen Ministry congregation. If you are in need of a Stephen Minister to walk with you through a difficult time call Deanna Dowding at 402-643-3148, Mary Ann Steinbeck at 402-643-2677, or the church office at 402-643-2983.
Stephen Ministry in St. Louis has created a new website which is very helpful in acquainting congregations with the program and in recruiting new Stephen Ministers. The address is www.stephenministries.org.
CHRIST’S CUPBOARD – ST JOHN FOOD PANTRY
The Christ’s Cupboard is a client-choice pantry to help individuals and families who have inadequate financial resources to meet their food needs, or who because of various crises are temporarily unable to cover their food needs. Pantry hours are Mondays 3-5 pm, Thursdays 6-8 pm and Saturdays 9-11 am..
St. John also hosts the Mobile Pantry the fourth Tuesday of every month from 4:30 – 5:30 pm (watch for different dates in November and December due to holidays). Both food programs are open to residents of Seward County.
